THE BURDEN OF "I AM WELL"

Many believe in the statement “I am fine.” But are we truly fine, well or okay? Unfortunately that statement may not be correct even when it seems obvious that we are “well”.
To help you appreciate the seriousness of this, let me narrate a true life experience of a 37 year old young man who may have looked or appear fine but actually could have lost his life.
Last year at the clinic, a 37 year old young man presented for a routine medical check up. Blood pressure was measured and i found out that it was high. I inquired and he led me into his history. He worked for a reputable oil firm for over four years without taking his annual leave or vacation. His work takes him into mid nights or early hours of morning. He sleeps for a few hours or sometimes not at all. He works from Monday to Sunday. And these goes on and on for this 4 year period. He was looking well, vibrant and strong. “He is fine.” So everyone thought.
However he never takes the initiative for his health. People care less about their health as long as they move about and do their daily routine.
On this fateful day, our vibrant, supposedly healthy young man at his work place suddenly slumped and collapsed. He was rushed to the hospital as an emergency. Blood pressure reading on this emergency check was hitting the roof. If not for the quick intervention of competent medical personnel it could have been a sad day for the family, friends and colleagues. Stress and lack of Healthcare Initiative could have killed him. HOW WELL ARE YOU?
Take the initiative for your health. Don’t wait till tomorrow. Tomorrow might be too late. Each day that passes and as we grow older our oxidative stress level increases.
He was admitted and stayed on admission for six weeks. That shows how serious his condition was. Prior to his emergency hospital admission, many will say ‘but i saw him yesterday, he even came to work.’ ‘What went wrong?’ others asked.
When you show signs of imminent danger, people around you may not notice because they are not trained to notice such seemingly innocuous signs of danger. They pass your walking around and carrying out your daily activity to mean you are healthy. But you are not.
Many in today’s stress filled world is going through such, some have collapsed and never recovered. Others have suffered one kind of paralysis or another. It is a common knowledge in hospitals today of increased number of young ones with high blood pressure. What the stress filled world handed to them and lack of Healthcare initiative.
As we grow older the Glutathione level/production drops while our oxidative stress level increases.
AS GLUTATHIONE LEVEL DECLINE, YOUR BODY CAN PAY A TERRIBLE PRICE .
Low glutathione level in the body results in;
Increase Fatigue
Reduced mental focus and clarity
Weakened immune system
Slower recovery from exercise
Increase in muscle and joint discomfort
Toxicity build up
Increase vulnerability to more than 74 major diseases
Increase oxidative stress level.
WHY IS GLUTATHIONE SO IMPORTANT?
Without Glutathione:
  • Every cell in the body would die prematurely.
  • The entire defense(immune) system of our body would surrender and cease to function
  • Your liver, which cleanse all of the toxins you ingest or inhale could no longer cleanse any poison or toxin.
  • Oxygen based life (human) would be impossible
  • Detoxification would be impossible.
GLUTATHIONE:
  1. Is produced by every cell in your body
  2. It is the primary protector and detoxifier of the cells.
  3. Is the most abundant anti-oxidant manufactured by the human body
  4. Maintain healthy oxidant-reductant levels of the cells
  5. Helps support a healthy immune system
  6. Transport amino acids from outside of the cell into the cell, allowing protein biosynthesis to take place.
  7. Is the first line of protection against environmental and chemical toxins.
